Would like more surgeries at Forestdale. Appointment computer inside the main entrance should be cleaned more frequently .It was filthy!

Farley Road is such a friendly practice and as a carer for my elderly parents, I am greatly impressed by the professionalism and efficiency and also the kindness shown to patients by medical and admin staff alike. It is usually possible to make appointments online and if an appointment or home visit is needed at short notice, reception staff will go out of their way to fit us in. It seems nothing is too much trouble. This GP practice makes elderly people feel that they matter at a difficult time in their lives and makes my job as a carer so much easier. I feel reassured to know that they are there to support us in times of need.

over the last couple of years, i unfortunatelty have needed my doctor more than ever and i will admit that this surgery is a great one to belong to. The receptionists are kind and helpful which is fantastic as it immediately puts you at ease during a stressful time. All the doctors are great, they listen and help you as much as you need. Appointments and medications can be ordered on line. They always pick up the phone and i cannot tell you how pleased i am that i have such a great doctor surgery - just knowing that you will be well looked after.

The care I receive from my doctor, Dr Cockell, is exemplary. She is unfailingly kind, supportive and reassuring, and her advice and prescriptions always work! She is the only doctor I have seen for some years so can't comment on others. I trust her completely. The surgery as a whole is friendly and the reception staff are helpful. It would be good to have more appointments available to book online for more routine visits about ongoing conditions, so that the telephone can be left freer for those who need more urgent and sudden care. It would also be helpful if requests for prescriptions in the free text box online (ie if they are repeats but are ordered infrequently so do not appear in the list of repeats) could be acknowledged by email to avoid wasted journeys to the surgery if there has been a glitch.
