I moved to Eden Medical four years ago, believing they offered a better service than my doctors practise at the time. Over the years I have been lucky enough not to need to visit the doctors often up until recently. I am absolutely disgusted by the way I have been treated by two of the doctors in this practice. I explained my symptoms and the doctor basically said my symptoms could be many things and that I should learn to deal with it - I left the surgery crying I was made to feel like some kind of fraud. My symptoms got worse so I made another appointment with a different doctor. The doctor came out and called my name, didn't look at me once - just at the computer screen and said if I felt no better in three months to go back and make another appointment and prescribed me antidepressants - even though I am not depressed. This seems to be the general trend at Eden Medical, just prescribe antidepressants for everything. The doctor didn't even say goodbye or anything - there was just silence for a few minutes and I took that as my cue to leave. Needless to say, I ripped my prescription up as soon as I got out the door. I don't need to be spoken to or treated like I am an inconvenience to you. This is the worst surgery with the worst doctors that I have come across. I would honestly say that if you are considering joining Eden Medical - don't. Trying to get through to make an appointment is a nightmare, the patient access website hardly ever has any appointments before 2 weeks. When you do finally get to see some of the doctors, you realise that they actually do not care at all
