This last visit was for blood tests and BP, and I made the appointment over internet as my previous appointment was cancelled, but last year I had paramedics sent out twice because I rang surgery and was told there was no appointments left and to ring 111, next thing there's an ambulance outside n 2 paramedics to be told I'd got a trapped nerve, what a waste of ambulance time. Most appointments I make are now done online but they're 4 weeks away, I drive for my job and most days I'm driving at 8.30 so I can't phone then. And when I can ring at 8.30 your 25th in the queue listening to horrendous music for half an hour to get through and be told no appointments left call back tomorrow

Suggested improvements
The people who don't work and have time to sit around all day on the phone get appointments. People who work haven't got time or can't phone until a certain time, so don't get one. It's just not fair to people who pay into the NHS.
