I have real difficulty getting an appointment over the telephone with this practice on the rare occasion I actually need it. In theory I think the on the day appointment system is good, and the sit and wait is a good idea on a Friday. However I work from 8am each morning and can never get through on the telephone lines until at least 10am when I am then told they are full for the day. The only time I have ever managed to get an appt is when I walk in to the practice at opening time but unfortunately I cannot do this anymore due to work commitments. I think the GP surgery should seriously consider adopting a telephone queuing system where i can sit and wait in a queue to get through instead of hearing an engaged tone for 2 hours and then be rejected again... Very frustrating...
