We had to phone in the afternoon for our newborn daughter and the reception put it on for the on call doctor to call us back, it was really helpful.
Worst gp surgery i have used. Never able to get an appointment itried 5 weeks to get to sed someone resulting in me having to go to hospital for future test.

On line appointments are taken as soon as they are on the system. Telephone appointments are rarely available even if you ring at 8.30am as the phone lines are queued.
Ridiculous where you are waiting in a huge queue from 8.30 to be informed no appointments. If you are working unable to get appointments unless pre bookable, spending time in a queue when you’re at work ! Hence if you’re ringing on the day usually means something more urgent is needed and get a call back at some time in the day.
We have listened to our patient’s feedback and understand it can be frustrating when waiting in a queue on the telephone, we are currently looking at introducing a telephone call back system, we are hoping this will make the process of contacting the surgery easier.
