My last visit I had to see the nurse for a test followed by Dr C Neden. Both were extremely sympathetic and kind in their advice and reassurance. I have had to see Dr Neden several times, and although she is not my official GP, she was fully aware of my history and is an excellent doctor, in my opinion.

I have always got an appointment on the same day as requested, The service has always been 110%, my concerns have always been addressed, (however irrational) and when I have presented with serious symptoms the treatment and follow up has always been 1st class. The staff and doctors are always polite and helpful even when I have been under the weather and not the best of company. The surgery is always clean tidy and comfortable both in summer and winter and the doctors rooms are light and airy and designed to encourage an open discussion with my health giver, and I am a picky patient... Overall one of the best surgeries I have ever used.

I have recently moved here from Birchington surgery and have been over the moon with the service that I have received in comparison. The most noticable aspect was never being able to get an appointment in Birchington - you cannot even book an appointment in advance. In comparrison, the East Cliff Practice allow you to book appointments with your specific doctor in advance and you are able to get appointments easily if calling by phone. Another added benefit that makes life easy is the ability t use the online booking system. The receptionists are very helpful but do not enquire about the reason for your appointment which is nice, in Birchington, they quiz you about the reason for you trying to book an appointment and sometimes make you feel like that you are wasting their time. My experience of the service offered by this surgery is second to none. It is very rarely that when phoning for an appointment we are not offered an appointment the same day. If none are available for your specific doctor you are usually offered one with another, or a 5 minute emergency appointment at the end of the day where you may just have to fit in time wise. As for waiting times it is most unusual to have to wait more than 15 minutes past your appointment time. I am seen by both doctors and nurses and cannot fault the service provided by either. The receptionists are very pleasant and efficient. The only hiccup in my experience has been to do with repeat prescriptions where they are not ready within the two day time frame. I always ring now to check they are ready before collection.
