I have been a patient here for some 12 years now and have always been impressed with the care and treatment I have received. My current GP is Dr Mash and she is extremely helpful, caring and supportive. While she was away I saw Dr Woodward and she was exactly the same. Indeed she managed to get me over my white coat syndrome which was affecting my, already, high blood pressure! I never feel rushed and am always given time to express my views and concerns. It is the nature of surgeries that doctors will, sometimes, be running late. I never mind this as I am aware that it is important that every patient gets the time and attention they need Friends have commented on difficult reception staff at other practices - in my experience, anyway, this is not true of Eastclff. The staff are friendly and efficient My one criticism is that it can be sometimes hard to get an appointment with your own doctor. Having said that I completely understand the pressures that medical practices are under and, recently, there seem to be more on line appointments available and I have taken advantage of these.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind comments which have been shared with the doctors and staff at the practice. I am sorry that you are finding it so difficult to get an appointment with your usual doctor. As you say locally we face significant problems with a shortage of GPs locally which unfortunately means that doctors here are carrying much higher lists of patients resulting in even more demand to see them. We are doing all we can to take the pressure off our doctors so for example we have established an Acute Care Team who can see patients with urgent on the day problems freeing up valuable GP appointments for those patients with long term or ongoing problems where continuity of care is important.
