I still not happy got a doctor now and she ok .she try but still what she has done has not help try ringing but don't get any where . now it the covid jab .got a letter as I can not travel far so I thought I would wait East cliff . to ring me ,don't know when that will happen plus my son need to have covid jab as well he's got learning problem and over weight I .but can not even phone as the message hang up its a pain and its stressing me out it also said to not be rude to the receptionists. what about when they are rude to a patient. that don't count . what I wish they inform patient what going on as they would not need to much just put in a email or sent letter .or text I have to keep ringing them for my missing med .for some reason they sent to wrong place every month .so fed up . and let down ,I got a bad UTI treatment has not work .just putting up with it .all they say is for me to get hold hospital to tell them it should be the DOCTOR to sort that out.

Suggested improvements

Response from East Cliff Practice

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to see you are happy with your new GP and that she is working through your problems. If you are struggling to get through on the telephone you can use our e-consult facility via the website. If you remain unhappy with the response you are receiving from the practice please make contact with the Practice Manager. With regards to the Covid vaccination. We do and try and post regular updates on our website. https://www.eastclifframsgate.nhs.uk/ We have almost 16,000 patients registered with East Cliff and with all that is required to run the largest vaccination programme ever which we are doing on behalf of all 5 Ramsgate GP practices alongside continuing to deal with the day to day running of a GP surgery we simply do not have the capacity or ability to provide regular updates via text, e-mail or letter about exactly where patients are on the list to be called. It may help to explain that we have limited control over the programme locally. NHS England are responsible for running the programme. They have set the criteria for which groups of the population are to be vaccinated and this in turn generates the list from which we contact patients and invite them in for a vaccination. We also have no control over how many vaccines we receive and therefore cannot predict how soon a patient is likely to be called in. You mention you have received a letter this is because NHS England have set up local hubs in order to vaccinate more people quicker. You may have seen that one has been set up at the SAGA building at Westwood Cross earlier this week. If you are unable to travel to a hub you can receive a vaccination at the practice but you may have to wait longer as we are still working through our priority lists and again are reliant on the number of vaccines allocated to us.
