If you are reasonable you can expect and get excellent care.
Our society now has a lot of people whose marriages have broken down and where family members go their own way with little contact and as a result no support for one another. Mental health problems as peoples bodies age create major problems now in this broken model of family and society. General Practice as it exists now cannot solve that problem. We must look for a new structure for these people. It will be a psychologically driven model rather than the medical/dispensing General Practice that we have AND it will need to be separated from it structurally but able to refer a person from one to the other.
