One receptionist in particular is not friendly nor welcoming. The receptionists avoided eye contact with my son while he waited and only responded when I arrived next to him- he is 17 so they should greet him and help him. The receptionist we dealt with was abrupt and her tone of voice showed disinterest in the patients. It is concerning that the system employed is that it of triage - put in place by the least qualified ie reception staff - people need to be seen by a doctor, the practice is empty of patients and full of staff - everywhere else has moved on from Covid except this surgery.

Suggested improvements
Friendly and open receptionists A move back to people particularly the vulnerable and elderly having easier access to a doctor. Hi had to complete pages of econsult and was 9th in a telephone queue - I can cope with this but for many this would be too difficult and causes an ever increasing gap in medical care for those who cannot access easily what should be available. The surgery has clear messaging to patients about not coming to the practice- this is no longer ok
