I can't believe how hard it is to get seen at this doctors surgery. I have been a patient since 1989 and I think the service of same day appointments Is awful. In 25 mins of holding on the phone from 8.30 all appointments have been taken and to be told by the receptionist it's not Their problem they are only the messenger is disgusting.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your comments. I was sorry to read your comments about the difficulty you have experienced in obtaining same day appointments. We have now changed the way patients can access same day routine appointments to ensure that any patient who would like to be seen on the same day and all the available routine appointments have been booked by other patients, can speak directly to the GP on Call, usually within an hour of their call. Please collect a newsletter from reception, or log onto our website: eaglehousesurgery.co.uk where it is available under "News" on the home page. I hope you find the new way of accessing same day routine appointments helpful. Practice Manager
