I am a professional working full time and I am finding the new appointment system extremely unhelpful. Finding the time to call the surgery during the working day is not easy, you have to wait a considerable time to get through and then are informed that the doctor that you need to speak to if fully booked for telephone call backs, this has happened for a second day for a second day. I have been advised to try again. The system disadvantages working patients. Being able to book on line was a much better system in my opinion. I am now waiting longer for the outcome of tests I have had - not satisfactory!
