Difficult to get an appointment with a GP for my children. They can only see a nurse even though there is a history of breathing difficulties and allergies which has resulted in referrals to secondary services.

As you may recall, when patients register at this surgery, they are asked to sign the Patients' Agreement, which confirms that they are happy to consult the Nurse Triage Service for children or for minor illness. However, can I also clarify that the Triage Nurse can book your children into a same day GP appointment, if this is medically indicated. I hope this explanation has been helpful. Practice Manager
