My husband and I have been registered with Belmont Health Centre since the early 1970's.
We have always been given the very best of service and care by the Receptionists, Nurses and Doctors and are very glad that we are under the care of this surgery.

Dr J.J Wijeratne is a fantastic Doctor who always makes time for all his patients.
He is very approachable and compassionate and always considers what is best for his patients.

My most recent trip my appointment was at 8.50 and was left waiting 45 mins. I've never seen a doctor on time. Never apologised. Whenever I phone to make an appointment it always says user busy for both numbers on their site. Receptionists are rude. And when you finally see a doctor I feel rushed out

Having been a patient for more than fifty years,from Dr.Gordon, Dr.Pallewella and Dr.Mangat I need to bring your attention to my recent experience. Having suffered a small wound on my right leg I saw a doctor who prescribed anti biotics for an infection.I was advised to leave this wound open to the air. After two weeks my leg was seriously infected and having no faith in the doctor I made an appointment with a nurse .This followed a month of treatment twice a week with nurse Carol who felt this wound should have been dressed from day one.You will appreciate how grateful I am as this comparatively small wound could have become ulcerated.
I need to point out that during the two appointments with your doctor who prescribed antibiotics,no gloves were worn and no hand washing took place before or after the examinations.I send this report for the benefit of future patients. Many thanks Nurse Carol.
