The receptionist who should have been on duty when I arrived was not to be seen but she was chatting to a colleague behind reception When she did appear she had the cheek to tell me I was late If she had been at the reception desk she would have known that I had arrived on time and could hear her personal conversation with her colleague I was stood a good 10 minutes waiting for her to finish her conversation when she did appear she did not even say good morning or apologise for not being at the reception area I prefer to check in with a person not with the checking in system at the door This seems to be the norm at this practice it does need sorting the receptionist and reception are the first impression to patients and anyone else calling at the practice and first impressions say so much about a place Otherwise the doctor I saw was excellent and I felt had taken time to give proper care
