Share review of Didcot Health Centre
Doctors are great. Some don't always take the time to properly sort a problem but some are really really great - Dr C Phillips especially. The real problem is getting an appointment! I had recently moved surgeries a few weeks before I would need a checkup and blood tests for my chronic condition, and - under the previous doctor's instructions - called up to book these, only to be told the nearest appointment was 3 weeks away!. The receptionist was extremely rude and gave me a lecture on what I should have done differently, despite me informing her I was simply following instructions of a doctor. She eventually booked me in on a sooner appointment after deciding it was necessary. Booking another appointment a few weeks later, was then told the wait was now 4 weeks! Again another receptionist lecture about medical emergencies and then I had a phone call with the Duty Doctor who sorted out an appointment for me.
My condition causes me a deal of discomfort and the actions of the receptionists, along with the massive waiting times for appointments, has left me severely disappointed in the service provided.
