I feel this surgery has gone back to pre war. You can’t get an appointment. I ring on the dot 08.29 immediately in a queue number 20 something. The ever so unhelpful receptionist (who by the way thinks she’s medically trained) answers. Can I prebook 3 days in advance please, the receptionist asks what is the issue, you tell her, she then says sorry they have all gone. I’ve tried this for the past 3 days. The receptionist then gleefully tells you the best thing to do is to come to the surgery at 08.00hrs and book a sit and wait, that’s what people do now. I remember doing that with my mother when I was a child I was born 1956, golly how far and advanced this surgery has evolved. Standing outside in the cold amongst germ ridden people, how far you have risen Danebridge, there must be an accolade that can be rewarded for your ingenious approach to health care. I am going to try one more time, if not successful I will call at the surgery at 08.00 take some photos to demonstrate how far you have come. Maybe it’s your receptionists who think they are Dr Kildare (apt name I think) and turn the patients away.
