I would recommend the surgery. I have a good GP - Dr A Wilson and have also found Dr Fish very helpful, on the odd occasion's I have seen her. I find the health care assistants/nurses friendly and helpful. The majority of the receptionists are very helpful. However, I have experienced one receptionist who I found blunt on the telephone, to the point of seeming rude and unhelpful. I think it would be extremely useful, if there was an on line booking service, as when working full time it can be very difficult to always be able to phone at 8am. I have often experienced, by the time I have got through on the telephone all the appointments have gone for that day. If there was on line booking for the day, it would give more choice. My only other comment is I popped into the surgery to inquire if I needed a repeat blood test this week, and the receptionist, loudly went through all the blood tests I had been given and what came back normal, and made a remark of "you have had a lot of blood tests". I felt quite embarrassed as there was a que of people behind me! I think a reminder of patient confidentiality would be useful.
