To phone for anything there's a long list of what can and cannot be done via the phone call. This is being paid for by the person calling the surgery. I think this is unacceptable with some calls costing as much as 40p per minute. The new procedures for appointment and prescription requests would be good if it worked. We can arrange appointment on line from I suppose 04.am but for most others we have to call first thing. You can not pre arrange an appointment for example on a day off. If you get a pin number or online access code wrong it gets blocked after 3attempts You can at least go online to order a monthly prescription as I did on the 17 pf December I went to pick up my pain tablets only to be told no prescription was received by the chemist. I contacted the surgery who gave me a code to give the pharmacy to re locate my prescription but the code must have been wrong so now again my prescription is not available I now have to contact the surgery again on Monday which will mean getting my prescribed meds due to start the 24/12 I won't get them now until maybe Friday. I'm going to move surgeries in the new year. Don't come to this one there are to many patients since the merger. There's room for about 5 cars only if you have to drive parking is restricted to one hour. The receptionist is one occasionally two but no privacy when standing waiting to see a Gp or make personal requests.. Sorry but you want the facts.
