I attended a Doctors appointment on 09/10 November and the Doctor asked me to make a follow up appointment for around 2 weeks so we could review some tests I was having so I made an appointment for 24 November. When I arrived for my appointment today, I was told I was with the nurse instead. I explained to the receptionist that my appointment needed to be with a doctor and was told that it didn't matter the nurse could help me. I saw the nurse and she agreed there was nothing she could help me with and I needed to see a doctor. I went back to reception and was told there were no Doctors appointments before Christmas and to ring early one morning and there may be an appointment that day. I am appalled with this service. The mistake was made by reception when I originally made a Doctors appointment for 24 November.
