Had an ear suction appt early am appt which suited me .
Gp was prompt explained fully what would happen and advised after care .

Unless you ring at 8am or it’s a ‘medical emergency’ you aren’t getting a phone consultation or seeing a GP that day. Appointments always can’t be booked for the next day but 2 weeks in advance.
