Since Church Street merged with Church Walk Surgery in May 2018 the standard of efficiency and care has declined. This may simply be teething problems. The new system of waiting for a doctor call back to assess if you need an emergency appointment is not a quick enough system. It has been very difficult to get general appointments as well with several weeks to wait. The majority of doctors I have seen at Church Street over 4 years have been very good. However since the merger I have dealt with a doctor from Church Walk who had a real lack of patient care, politeness and concern for patient well being which has changed my view of the overall effectiveness and level of care for this practice.
