Waited 15 mins in a phone queue to be told no appointments available. No offer of callback made. Suggestion of walk in Surgery elsewhere not appropriate. Gave up as did not feel surgery was bothered. My wife phoned and waited 20 mins in a queue. Beth who answered was no help at all to the point of not being insensitive. She told my wife it was part of her job to fob people off. No appointments available for over 2 weeks. Callbacks unlikely due to long list of callbacks already. I have had a severe pain below my right rib which has not gone away on its own. Will go to casualty at Whh if pain becomes too much. I don't like phoning surgery at best of times because it can be difficult to get an appointment but a long call wait and insensitive office staff who don't seem to care enough to help put me off even more.
