Although there is usually a 4 to 6 week wait for appointments I can always manage to see a Dr on the same day (providing it's not on a Monday when they deal with emergencies) - Mondays and Fridays seem to be their busiest day.
I have found reception/doctors and nurses very helpful.
My recent visit the surgery prompted me to write this review. I had a routine appointment with the Nurse (non urgent and booked 4 weeks prior). My child was with me - i'd called to make him an appointment for a suspected infection but being a Monday was told to ring back the next day, I mentioned this to the nurse who confirmed it was an infection and on our way out spoke to a Dr who was happy to see him there and then and prescribed antibiotics. I really felt they went above and beyond for us.
