Rang to try and get an appointment at 9.21 this morning. Automated message saying they has reached their capacity and would not answer any more. Said to press 1 if you needed test results so tried this. Rang for 6 minutes before hanging up. Disgraceful!!! No private business would ever be able to say we are simply not answering any more calls. Exactly what is going on? Would love to say this is a one off but unfortunately I have had this experience every time I have called for the last 4 weeks. Fingers crossed the pain and numbness in my arm is muscular not cardiac or anything more serious, and anyway who really needs to be able to wipe their own backside? Yet another example of the unending and widespread failings of the public sector in NI.

Suggested improvements
Answer the phones. Allow patients to actually see a doctor. Have the doctors attend the medical centre and do their jobs. Make appointments in a diary even if its not that day. Accept covid is no longer an excuse and get back to work.
