Nurses and HCA - very good. Getting past receptionist with requests - not good experience, despite explaining requests and advice from hospital consultants. Some of older reception staff (past experience Gp) helpful - after numerous telephone and visits to surgery to sort problem out. When hospitals or consultants give verbal request on discharge to pt - seems difficult to relay this to reception staff. If it is not writtem in discharge letter they are unhelpful. Not happy that they can read pt's notes at desk.
