This surgery is, and what should be, the blueprint of the National Health Service we are so proud of. My personal experience here has always been a very pleasurable one without anxiety, fear or apprehension, due mainly to the incredible staff. From the friendly helpful receptionists, the caring nurses, and the front line medical doctors, in who's hands we place our health problems, the paramount feeling from a patients point of view is one of trust, that our problems will be dealt with by caring professional people. The surgery is always spotlessly clean, more than sufficient seating, creating a relaxed atmosphere. This then, is an ideal world made real by Carden surgery. Have been with this practice since moving to Brighton nine years ago. I have never received anything less than excellent service and excellent treatment. Always able to get a same-day appointment if I need one, admin staff are polite, kind and helpful and the doctors are 1st class. Was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes early last year and have had regular contact with the doctors and nurses regarding meds and care plan. Thanks everyone!

I am always struggling to make an appointment even if i am lucky enough to make one i always waited more than 25 min in some cases upto an hour. Today i tried constantly to make an appointment for my daughter but unable to make it.extremely disappinted and frustrated. I am pretty new to the surgery like 1 year or so and already feeling changing it. I used to be a stanford medical centre patient they were lovely caring and can make an appointment the same day. I am wondering if they cant look after their registered patient what on earth they registering more people. The receptionest is never helpful she dont have a smile on her face. So my conclusion is more frustation for me. Will never ever recommend them at all .they are not worth it.

Even though the Doctors, nurses and receptionists are under immense pressure they always have time to listen, rather than you feeling you are a pain. A smile goes a long way. Dr Jonathan Halford has been my families favourite for years and what a very caring genuine gentleman.

I think the new on line service is great. I have now booked appointments this way and find it easy to do. On the few times someone in my family has needed an emergency appointment there has not been a problem. The receptionists are friendly and helpful.
