Caldbeck Surgery is a warmly welcoming general practice which is always spoken of very highly in its operational area, as well as having a very good reputation across north Cumbria. The doctors, nurses and reception/administrative staff are without exception friendly and approachable. When I make an enquiry or present with a medical problem their response is attentive, caring, reassuring and efficient. I am happy to have a consultation appointment with whichever doctor is on duty, as they all seem to keep up to date with the many patients on their list! A same-day appointment is usually available. If referral to a hospital department is necessary, the practice arranges this without delay and I am informed as soon as results are received. Caldbeck Surgery has the advantage of having its own dispensary on the premises, so no extra trip to a pharmacy is required - prescribed medication is immediately available. There is parking space on-site and free public parking close by.
