When you get through to reception which one in ten times you don’t the girl that answer is confrontational does not answer your question but says we have done what we are supposed to do and are not intrested in patient welfare ,says she will pass on information to correct department nothing happens.

Answer phones ,employ people that are nice not people with an attitude problem .

I am very unhappy with my recent telephone conversation with a receptionist in Wallace St.when I attempted to book a blood test today.The young lady really did not want to listen and was dismissive and sarcastic.She informed me that there were no appointments with the nurse at Burney St at present.I asked to book one for March but she again refused to listen and told me to phone NHS to book a community appointment.I told her that I was a retired GP and asked when in the future I might phone in March to ascertain availability but again she very rudely told me just to go elsewhere.This is really very poor behaviour for any patient to receive.I also told her that I would complain.

I believe that all surgery receptionists play a vital role in the lives of the patients and that they are all accountable and should be informed by the practice manager when one happens to underperform
