Surgery needs to improve telecoms. Frustrating for patients, doctors, pharmacists and patients relatives/carers. Please consider the following:
1. provide dedicated telephone number for pharmacists
2. update web site to allow appointments to be made on line with practice nurses, phlebotomists etc.
3. Provide separate waiting area for parents with young children
4. Better controls when issuing prescriptions by ensuring all prescriptions are sent electronically to patient's nominated pharmacy (where drug control permits). Exceptions accepted when being collected out of usual pharmacy hours or by third party.
