I was put into hospital with a serious bacterial infection and put onto a drip after the doctor misdiagnosed me and did not give me any antibiotics for the swollen lymph gland I had on my left side and, instead, told me it was a virus and he could not do anything for me. He could see I was in pain and told me to take paracetamol and keep drinking water. I only got the GP appointment because a family member called on my behalf to complain about how worried they are about me and how appallingly I am being treated and the reception team wanted to send me a questionnaire to fill in and then send me to the minor illness clinic! It is beyond a joke with the Broadway medical centre. You can't get an appointment, you get misdiagnosed and put into hospital.

Suggested improvements
Not let receptionists give out medical advice Let patients see the GP face to face regardless of what it is Give proper treatment to patients (ie antibiotics)
