I am due a blood test for my kidneys every 6 months.I was not contacted after 6 months from last January, my last test. I eventually pointed this out and was told I had to do it through reception. I've delayed it until now but because of concerns I applied to have it. My old GP has apparently left and through reception intermediaries I'm being told I'm not due a blood test which is patently untrue and provable if my old renal consultant were contacted and I know is in on my notes from my last consultation with my old GP in October. Basically the Gaps assertion is patently wrong, and probably so. You can't make it up!
