Worst practice ever. Unhelpfull and unprofessional. For 6 months they were not able to help me. I had to go to another country to receive care and get diagnosys. They asked me to translate the findings instead of just doing the tests here in UK. I presented them with everything just to be told to translate it to Englush. I had to do the tests, get my diagnosys, translate everything... why are they here in the first place? Useless....
Mistakes made in my care, dismissiveness hence mistakes, incompetent receptionist, rudeness is a given
The receptionists and doctors need to lighten up a bit, and show more sympathy to the patients who may or may not be very sick! This may be hard with the pressure they are under but it doesn't take a lot to smile and listen and its the difference between a happy patient and a grumpy one...surely you want patients to be happy or at least satisfied?
There are 4 receptionists at the desk. Only 1 of them is very busy with a long line of patients, the 3 other ones just sat down and I ask if I could kindly give my urine specimen. Receptionist refused and asked me to queue. What is the point? I stood waiting in line just to hand the specimen bag as well. Any of the 3 receptionists could have just taken the specimen bag and threw it in the lot as no documentation is done to what has been received anyway. very unhelpful receptionists. being the frontline of the health centre they should be taught some customer service.
