Being treated with some empathy and included in making choices of treatment made my experiences of coming to the surgery easier. Sometimes in the past it's not been a pleasant experience and anxiety provoking. Some gp's have been condescending when giving information. However I have had nothing but good experiences recently. Much improved service .

Desperately requiring medical assistance I telephoned the surgery in the mid-afternoon as soon as I returned to my home. The doctor responded to my call a short while later and I was immediately given an appointment to attend the Acute Illness clinic within the hour. I was very grateful for the treatment I received, which was excellent. The staff was helpful and exceedingly friendly.

I WAS SENT A LETTER FROM MY GP REQUESTING A MEDICATION REVIEW AND BLOOD TESTS. DULY MADE THE APPOINTMENT BUT WHEN ISAW THE NURSE SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHY I WAS THERE OR WHAT TESTS SHE SHOULD BEE TAKING. SHE FAILED TO GET ANY BLOOD AND THEN SEEMED TO ABANDON THE WHOLE THING AND ASKED ME TO MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT
