Results missing on numerous occasions over the last few months , having to be told to repeat tests. More waiting for results to come back! Very difficult to get through to reception as phones are always busy or are on black alert ! You can access your results via App but thats if they actually do come back. Surely there must be someone checking overdue test results???? Accurx also isn't great a Doctor messaged me to say they had prescribed an antibiotic , when I checked to see which one it was its was one I am unable to take . So a call would have been better . Galletly you are usually such a wonderful practice

Suggested improvements
For tests that are sent away from the surgery to be properly monitored and chased up by staff rather than patients having to keep calling in to ask this to be done. It would also be better for a Doctor to call rather than text to let you know you have been prescribed medication so you can discuss. Also please make booking appointments available via NHS App or Patient Access

It is utterly impossible to get an appointment. The app doesn't work. All it offers is Covid and Flu jabs - never a single GP appointment. Try phoning at any time of the day after about 8.35 and you get "black alert" notification. This surgery is broken.

You need to sort out your appointment system. I genuinely don't understand how anyone gets to see a doctor.

My husband has had an ongoing chest infection for several weeks. He has serious heart problems, COPD and has had pneumonia on four occasions in the past. On trying to get an appointment to speak to or be seen by a doctor (someone to listen to his chest and check for pneumonia would be a good idea!) I went on to the online app on the dot of 7am to find that, as usual, I can only book Covid or flu vaccines. Phoned at the precise moment the surgery opened in the morning to hear that all phones lines are busy and the queue full - goodbye! It took TWENTY TWO phone calls to get through to the point where I could leave a request for a call back from from the receptionist. He was eventually seen by an extremely efficient and caring Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Unfortunately, despite three courses of steroids and antibiotics, he’s no better and the whole miserable process of trying to make an appointment has begun again, with the same outcome. The treatment he has received when we eventually managed to make contact has been fine and much appreciated, however the inefficiency of the appointment system is intolerable and we now give up and will be attending a walk-in centre. My husband is a retired GP (or good old Family Doctor as they were in his day) - you can imagine the despair he feels!

PLEASE sort out your appointment system - I hear time and again that it is nigh on impossible to make an appointment, either on the NHS app or by phone. The stress and frustration it causes is intolerable and lets down what could be an excellent surgery.

Excellent service. Friendly receptionist and outstanding practice from nurse regarding my Covid booster. Kind and human. I am so fortunate to have such a service and face to face appointments. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL AND YOUR TEAM.

Informed by the practice that my medication and chronic illness review was due and told to call and select option "0". This does not work, it again tells you to select that option.....again...and again. Option "1" is usually at "Full Capacity" or on "Black Alert". The NHS App does not give an option for an appointment, only for Covid or Flu Jabs. So, how can I make an appointment?

Sort the appointment system out! Employ more people so you can speak to someone! Stop this reliance on IT and automated systems!
