The appointment system is ridiculous in this day and age. You phone at 8.30 on the dot and are number 53, I have tried to call earlier but then you eventually get through to a machine saying you are calling out of hours, so I am interested to know how 53 people got through before me!! On- line appointments is needed and will save money, so why are they taking such a long time to install it? The time of 8.30am is not practically for working people as this is normally when they are on their way to work. Also getting a late appointment or evening / weekend is very hard for working people. The doctors, I have seem many over the years, have been good and bad. Some outstanding and very caring, some of them sound like they are reading a manual rather than listening to what the patient is saying!

Sorry to hear that you have had problems getting appointment to suit you. Please note the surgery does offer appointments on line. Please enquire at receptions for instructions. To cater for working people the practice offers Monday evening surgery between 6 - 8.15 pm and Saturday mornings 8 am to 11.15am Thank you for taking time to give us this valuable feedback Christine Earwaker
