On the 10th August I spoke to the reception concerning a lump on my forearm which needed to be checked. The receptionist asked me to forward a photo via a link which she gave me. I duly did so. Within a short time the doctor had 'phoned me to say that the lump needed to be seen at hospital,removed,and tested.He said he would arrange an appointment. Within two days the East Kent & Canterbury Hospital Dermatology Department 'phoned me with an appointment for today...21st August. This morning I was seen and the doctor immediately performed the excision. Not only were they marvelously efficient but we managed to have a laugh throughout the procedure. Whatever the result , I wish to thank them and Birchington Medical Centre for the speedy and professional way this has been dealt with. Thank you all - you have made an old man very happy!
