When you order medicine it would be very helpful if you got a text when the prescription has been sent to the pharmacist.
if you need an appointment it is very difficult to get one, you have to be on the phone on the dot of 8.30am and constantly be on redial if you are not lucky enough to get straight through, and if you are still on the phone after 20 minutes, there is no point trying, you have to do the same again as there are no appointments left for that day. As for on line you need to know that you are going to be poorly at least a month in advance as there is no appointments in the week you are trying for.
Most of the doctors are very good, if you can get to see them. It is almost impossible to get an appointment for a young child. Calling at 8:30 each morning, having to repeat dial for up to 30 mins to get through - whilst trying to get children to school - only to be told yet again there are no appointments - is simply not good enough. Many many times when calling the answer service advises of staff shortages. Reception staff (female) incredibly unhelpful. Will be looking for a new surgery.
When ever I call I struggle to get through/ answer. They are causing problems with repeat prescriptions, they completely ignore emails, and sent undated letters out to patients with dimentia.. Every dealing with them has been disgusting.
Dr Tew is excellent and proactive with my family's care.,
Recently I have had problems with repeat prescriptions, confusion over the type of supply,,weekly or 28 days.
Queuing for appointments is not pleasant in the rain, Would it be possible to open the surgery before 8:30 in inclement weather, perhaps we could take a ticket like the old supermarket cheese counter.
