My scores are based almost exclusively on my experience with my own doctor, Dr Peter Carrington, who is far and away the best GP I have ever had. My only problem with the BHG is that it is extremely popular in Heaton, and as such it is very difficult to get an off-the-cuff appointment, if needed. Every doctor is pretty much booked solid, weeks in advance. But I suspect this is a common theme within the best surgeries all over the UK.
The receptionists are routinely helpful and by and large consistently good.
The District Nurses who work within the practice are also excellent.
