My child has been scheduled 3 times for his 1 year jabs and they’ve all been cancelled - if he gets sick because of this I’ll be taking my complaint further.

Suggested improvements
Stop cancelling an important appointment and making us wait ages at a high risk of a baby getting sick.

Spoke to Dr Noori twice while experiencing a flare of a chronic condition and could not contact the specialists at the hospital. He was kind and helpful and was genuinely frustrated on my behalf. He gave me my consultants secretary’s number so I could seek the help I needed and was insistent that I called back if I was no better. He genuinely cared about my welfare. The system may be broken but the people are still giving the best service they can in difficult times.

Suggested improvements
It can be frustrating to have to fill out a doctor link form every time you want to speak to a doctor. The system is not set up for chronic conditions. I had to adjust my answers as it was recommending I call an ambulance- which I knew I didn’t need!

I wanted an appointment today, a member of staff Offered to sit with me in the surgery and show me how to get to see someone, she explained it simply, I didn’t feel like I was stupid. It is a good link Thanks Paula

This system is not fit for use. After speaking to 111 clinician last night, I was told my 3 month old would be seen by the GP first thing this morning and they had sent the request for the appointment. Call surgery at 10am as heard nothing- hadn't even been requested to bookings team. Sent through to request a GP appointment for today. Call at 1pm as still nothing, all while 3 month old is in pain. Waiting for an opening apparently- receptionist couldn't book anything for me. She followed up with bookings team. 1.30pm a message from the team offering a remote consultation at SOME POINT this afternoon. Tell me how a remote consultation is suitable for a potential ear infection? This is unacceptable. The doctors are great when you actually get to see them but receptionists should be able to book urgent appointments and actually help patients rather than being another step in the long chain.

Just make an appointment when needed.

I have just been on the phone for 40 minutes trying to speak to someone, Every time 20 minutes was reached the phone was deliberately disconnected. Can someone please explain to me how anyone ever gets an appointment or an answer to a query?!! This surgery used to be amazing it is now rubbish,!!
