This is the worst surgery, I have come across. Receptionist are rude and appalling. Ellie hangs up on me 3 times, ending my call with a very sarcastic attitude. I strong believe she needs training regarding her role how to talk to patient. She passed my symptoms to the doctor he or she is telling her to tell me to go A&E. obviously the doctor is refusing to give me an appointment over the phone which I usually have….Covid 19 is increasing I don’t want to go to the hospital to wait for 10 hours. When the GP could have the decency to at least have a 5 mins consultation over the phone like the other GP has done in the past within the last 2 years due to Covid-19. Don’t use my diabetic as an excuse.

Suggested improvements
The GP could have offered me a telephone appointment for further discussion about my symptoms. It’s kind a muscle spasm with diabetes I was suffering from.. It’s clearly states when I googled about spasms you need to see a doctor it doesn’t say to go A&E. I won’t classified it as an emergency to go A&E. I will be taking this matter further as I go doctors and consultants in my family. I asked the receptionist Ellie, the GP name. she wouldn’t give it to me….I will writing to the BMJ regarding the GP who was on duty that day going forward.
