Baronscourt Surgery must simply be the best GP practice I have ever experienced. The staff are friendly, helpful and nothing seems to be any trouble. Recently I have been able to attend an appointment at short notice, been referred to another facility for an X-ray (only took 2 weeks!) been seen by turning up at 8am and today received a call back from the Duty Doctor wiithin 15mins. The service is second to none. I really appreciate knowing that when it matters I can rely on Baronscourt to assist both myself and my family ~ thankyou Baronscourt.

The best service I have ever had from a Doctor's surgery. The receptionists always are helpful and kind, which I find calming. They all do there best to help accommodate my requirements. The nursing staff are kind, careful and knowledgeable and give sound advice when asked. The Doctors are definitely worth a visit. I have found them so kind and caring, for treating me. They listen to their patients ailments before setting out a course of action. They always tell you pros and cons of certain treatments. I give this surgery 12 our of 10 and would give them an award if I could, thank you for being here. Paul

I have been with this surgery for many many years and have never had anything but great care and support. The surgery is always very clean but is dated and is in need of refurbishment. Particularly the waiting area where the walls are marked and furniture is worn. That however is a minor grumble. The most important thing is how great the doctors are and the rest of the staff. The receptionists can be a bit snippy on occasion but they don’t make the rules and are just doing their job. I do miss Dr Ryan as he was my doctor for almost all the time I have been a patient at the surgery. The other doctors, particularly Dr Fraser, are fantastic though.

I cannot say enough good things about the doctors in this practice. The doctor I saw recently, Dr Fraser, took time to listen to me and asked many questions.

Sadly this surgery has too many patients hence almost impossible to get an appt - if you want to see your own GP then a wait of 2-3.weeks is usual . This offers no continuity and with new locums all the time, they do their best to deal with you on the spot but having little history can offer treatment but not see signs that a long standing GP would pick up. I feel the GP's are under pressure as not enough of them and on a few occasions felt them very abrupt and the feeling of 'next please' is in their head while you are still their . Would Definitely Not recommend anyone to join this surgery.
