The new system in place due to Covid 19 restrictions works well. You can be on hold for a while but once you get through there are available telephone appointments every day.

Use the NHS video call system so patients and doctors can see who they are talking to. You will get much more out of appointments if doctors can see the patients’ expressions and body language.

It is easier at the moment to get an appointment as it is only telephone appointments. I hope the ease of getting appointments continues when normal service resumes after Covid lockdown eases. I hope the surgery does reintroduce face to face appointments. A phone appointment is fine but it’s not the same as sitting with a doctor.

Introduce video call appointments during covid lockdown. Lots of other medical services have done this.

It’s much easier to get an appt at the moment as all doctors are available for phone calls (during lockdown). However one way to make this better for patients would be if the surgery had the option of video calls - zoom, FaceTime. It would be very beneficial to see who you are speaking with. A nice human touch.

It’s not always the easiest to get through but once you speak to the reception team you can usually get an appointment, depending on who you speak to. There is one receptionist who is a bit nippy. Doctors are fantastic even more so at the moment in the midst of this weird time we find ourselves in. The doctor who has been looking after me is understanding, kind, very easy to talk to and he listens.
