The doctors are always helpful - once you are allowed to get an appointment! Reception is a different matter, particularly when you are lectured to regarding the inappropriate choices you are perceived to make.most receptionists are kind and helpful but with limited knowledge.

Suggested improvements
It is always worrying when the least qualified personnel are handling intake - and this applies in any professional service. It is not sufficient to be told the doctor is the wrong person for you to contact, unless you can be redirected to the right place. This is very noticeable re Covid and Flu jabs, reception not knowing the GP Group number for local Covid vaccination sites, and not mentioning that local pharmacies can help. Simple points that can ease rather than increase confusion and anxiety experienced by patients.
