Main issue is with the prescription service. Called nearly ten times as wanted my prescription amended. My chemist has been emailing the precription clerk as well for days but either no response or getting it wrong. Shocking as this should be one of the most efficient role of any surgery. It’s always an answerphone and only few hours during the day! Most GPs are pleasant face to face but when you email with queries it can take a while to get a response. Some times had to email several times. Their triage system seems efficient and you do get a call back without fail. (If you miss their call , they wont call you back!). Most reception staff are pleasant and tries to be helpful and empathetic. Reception could be more private-middle of the patient waiting area. I had only good experiences with ladied who take bloods so thank you. Most nurses seems efficient and friendly- I haven’t had much contact with the nurses so cant comment too much. My three stars reflect the good bits but two deducted for very poor prescription service and slow responses from GP. It feels like every one is ‘ticking boxes’ in this surgery. Do not feel very confident in this primary care setting. Apologies to all the very good caring ones who work there.
