Shocked to overhear a doctor complain that they were seeing a lot of people in person, querying why patients did not have telephone appointments and asked receptionists to look into it. ( really????) The receptionists were damning towards a colleague …however surely doctors (especially GP’s) should be the first port of call in minor cases. I get the impression that they don’t want to see patients at all and would prefer that we left them alone as we are a bother…no care no person centred approach….
