Some of the reception staff I've found to be rude and unhelpful - although perhaps not having enough appointments, and ringing phones in the background is frustrating for them too. I've often got to the front of the queue only to be told that the receptionist will answer the phone. When I've tried to call to make an appointment or get test results - often the phone just rings and rings - and that's not at peak morning time. When one finally gets to see a doctor (I don't think I've seen the same one twice) the ones I've met are all generally knowledgable, caring and helpful.

I've had incidents of it taking a week to get an appointment for my son who was 18 months to see a GP. When I asked for a GP to call me back, I was told to take him to a pharmacy. The pharmacist refused to sell me the medication the GP told me I could get over the counter as my son was under 2

Although a new G.P to me, I have found Dr. Kate Dodson affable, approachable, attentive and involved me in the understanding and decision-making on my condition. The partnership felt equally balanced.

I have always been delighted with the service provided at the Health Centre. Although I have not needed to see the doctor with whom I am registered there has never been a problem with seeing a doctor at relatively short notice. Given the increased number of patients at this time of year (February) it is re-assuring to know that the practice has taken on two extra doctors and the surgery is now open till 8pm . What more can one want from N.H.S. The practice is to be applauded for a first rate service. The lists of 'no-shows' are a revelation. If only it would inspire those recalcitrants to think more carefully about not turning up. An excellent service in all respects - not much more they need to improve on.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MY REGISTERED GP BUT SHE IS ALWAYS BOOKED UP 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE AN WHEN YOU RING ON THE DAY YOU CANT GET THROUGH OR SHE IS ALREADY BOOKED, I FEEL THIS IS TOTALLY UNSATISFACTORY AS I HAVE NO CONTIUITY OF CARE. PATIENTS WHO ARE REGISTERED WITH HER SHOULD GET PRIORITY WHEN BOOKING APPPOINTMENTS
