I have been registered here since 1984. I have always found the staff helpful. However I was recently missed when a triage should have called me in and was walking about with a DVT for two weeks. I put this down to the Patient Access system which only offered an appointment 2 weeks out - I described the symptoms as an uncomfortable lump affecting my circulation. Since then the practice has got itself in a mess with its computer systems and has not got me onto repeat ordering for prescriptions for Warfarin. The patient access system has been disabled and a new online system is in place but I have been unable to register online. Computer systems used as an interface are fundamental to delivering good care and should be fully tested before they are unleashed on patients. This is a serious lapse by Allerton Medical Practice and needs to be sorted out as a matter of urgency. I have a new condition that may become long standing.

Our migration went very smoothly and the team have been working very hard to get to grips with the new way information is presented. This is why I would like to know in more detail about your experiences as I would like to follow up any possible user error or identify where something has gone wrong.
