Phoned last week to arrange a repeat prescription for painkillers due to severe foot pain. Prescription wasn't ready and was told it wouldn't be available today, that I would have to call later to arrange to have the prescription sent directly to a chemist. An hour later, when on my way to another unrelated appointment I got a phone call to say my prescription was now ready to collect. The surgery closed just over an hour later so I couldn't get back today to collect, and now it wasnt going to be sent to a chemist. Another day without pain relief after an unnecessary journey that had added to my pain. Receptionist was rude, unhelpful and unapologetic. 16th January I has called ahead and went to collect a prescription and a printout of results from an ultrasound scan so I could take them to the podiatrist. Prescription wasnt done, printout wasnt done. Early December, phoned to arrange a repeat prescription for painkillers, got there on the day they said it would be ready...it wasn't ready. They are useless, nothing is ever done on time and nobody seems to care. Is this an acceptable way to treat people in pain? Is it acceptable to make people with mobility issues make unnecessary journeys? And then get attitude from the receptionist? It didn't used to be this bad but its definitely gone down hill in recent years. Avoid if you possibly can
