called about 5 or 6 times to get an emergency appointment but they hung up every single time after they put me hold before I could even speak to anyone

I had severe coughing for 4 weeks, and the GP diagnosed me with bronchitis. Instead of prescribing me antibiotics to help cure the infection up fast, the GP told me that they didn't like over-prescribing antibiotics, and to just take normal cold medicine. I ended up going to a different GP and got antibiotics the same day, and recovered from bronchitis in 5 days. The GP at Gilmore Medical would have just rather me suffer and try to fight off the bronchitis with OTC medications than prescribe me medications that would actually help me.

During my 5 years of coming to the practice, I've been attended to extremely diligently by the doctors and nurses, and respectfully by the receptionists. I've had a fantastic experience with staff. They make me feel at ease, their communication is clear and I always get the feeling that they are looking after the my best interests.

I am a long term patient many of the GPs have been there or known to me for nearly 30 years. Medical care is excellent with close communication and input from Senior GPs. The practice nurses are exceptional and caring. Apt’s are flexible and if unwell same day available. The reception team and Practice Manager are cheerful efficient and very helpful. I am very fortunate and extremely grateful to be registered with this practice.

The administrative staff is helpful, friendly, and professional. The GPs are excellent, caring, and genuinely want to help make you better. This surgery is exactly what you would want in a surgery!

I was nervous about coming as I had never been here before and it was probably going to involve a jab, I'm not great with needles. Jenny was warm and welcoming, really put me at my ease. She knew why I was there, had all my information and did a great job of keeping me calm as she explained what was going to happen. Jenny answered all my questions, I knew what my next steps were, and I was reassured when I left. Couldn't have asked for better. Keep up the good work.

My husband and I have been coming here for years and we can't get over how wonderful everyone is. The receptionists are incredibly helpful and caring; they actually try to help you and make things work. The doctors all look at your notes before you go in and care about helping you feel better, regardless of what is ailing you. This practice has been flexible in caring for the pair of us and making sure we are well looked after. I have yet to meet anyone there--GP, nurse, or admin--who hasn't done a brilliant job. I can get appointments and prescriptions when I need and have never been made to feel like I'm wasting anyone's time.

I can't thank these gps enough. I came as a very nervous fresher with multiple health conditions and all the GPs and nurses have been fantastic especially the practice nurse who guided me through a new diagnosis of asthma. They were compassionate and competent as well as overseeing multiple conditions whilst dishing out a bit of tough love when needed as an unorganised teenager
